The models hinted at a great day. The nice
cap to hold things, pretty good shear and a rather explosive breakout.
Unfortunately it went from congestus to a compete sky clutter of old
anvils everywhere in the space of 1 hour. This picture is just north
of Young, NSW
I
was not until very late in the day when the rubbish early
development was swept away that more decent cells started to show. This
one is just NW of Canberra and eventually provided that city with a
thrill.
This
cell near Harden had briefly interesting base features. I thought it
would power on, but instead become outflow party, but still produced
some scenic pictures.
