20th January 2009 - Gerringong - Lake Illawarra, NSW

Although spectacular - from my experienced view there is something not right about this image. I think the two smaller bolts in the distance are throwing the perspective of the shot out.

Most of the lightning was quite distant - so much so that I was at the zoom end of my lens - thus full 11 mp images are grainy.

Another storm later near midnight put out 2 or 3 bolts just around the corner form my home
