23rd March 2009 - Mount Warrigal, NSW

March 2009 saw a number of opportunities for lightning. The last day was from a surprisingly weak storm - one of  the weaker storms I have seen lightning from.	A closer crop of the previous image
This image shows just how weak the convection was - there is very little rain falling and the only cloud is old anvil.	This lonely strike is almost coming from nothing, Note that it is was not quite dark yet, just twilight, hence the lovely colours in the sky
