Nice rain free base just west of Moss Va;e


The 24th of February was not looking that good. Marginal instability and virtually no wind shear. None the less I took the trip up the infamous Macquarie pass. At the top of the pass I near Robertson I saw a weak pulse cell blow up near Moss Vale. In the short 15 mins I took to get there the storm had matured.

The nice thing about the storm was the lightning - a video of which is below.
