Fog stratus ( near Wollongong, NSW )

Orographic stratus - this was taken at the edge of the Illawarra escarpment, the warm moist north east sea breeze is lifting air up the escarpment face and as the air cools cloud condenses. In this photo the stratus is also being sheared by drier and much warmer north west winds.
